Equality through Education
We envision a world where every child has the opportunity to receive a quality, ethics-based education, regardless of race, gender, religion or nationality. Our mission is to work through indigenous leadership to establish sustainable schools where they are needed most, primarily in the developing world.
WCS works with schools that serve vulnerable populations of children; children who are orphaned, who are living in poverty, or who are facing discrimination or oppression within their cultures, religions or governments.
Power In Education
Aristotle said, “All who have meditated on the art of governing mankind have been convinced that the fate of empires depends on the education of youth.”
With good education comes tolerance, compassion, wisdom and critical thinking. Quality, ethics-based education teaches a child how to apply moral principles to his or her every day life. A boy who learns that all people are created equal will treat his wife with respect, his children with gentleness and his enemies with kindness. Peace will prosper at the hands of ethically-educated youth in the poorest nations of the world. Terrorism will diminish. Poverty will be met with creative compassion.

Creating Independence
Our services to educational organizations include:
- Sponsorship: monthly operational support so that schools can offer quality education to more children in their communities.
- Facility Improvement: construction funding for new or growing schools
- Continuing Education for Teachers: funding and hosting of annual teacher training events with an emphasis on developing skills for integration of values-based teaching into all subject matter
- Work teams: groups of volunteers travel to the field to help improve facilities and build relationships
- Sustainability Seed Funds: assistance in school-sustaining enterprises
